Welcome to my first series of caches that will take you around the way marked Chapleton Trail, set in the countryside around the new town of Chapleton.
This is an agricultural area and as such, the fields around this trail are usually home to cattle and horses so please bear this in mind if taking along your dog. Please keep under control and on a lead where requested.
As the town of Chapleton continues to grow, please be alert to construction traffic, using the pedestrian safety crossings when entering/ exiting the Cairnhill end of town.
On foot this 4.5km trail will take around an hour. The terrain in places is bumpy and uneven. Little legs should manage. Only sturdy buggy's should attempt!
Parking. There is a park and ride carpark situated as you exit the flyover or slip road into Chapleton, however there is plenty of on street parking within the town itself.
Many thanks to Caroline Fife from the Elsick Development Company for allowing permission to place this series.
The cache is just off the track within a copse of trees
