A small, square cemetery enclosed by hedges on the grounds of the former La Retraite School (now a corporate care home). There are two entrances, one on the North (road) side with a plain metal gate, the other on the East aide which exits onto a grassed area. Basic maintenance is undertaken by local district authorities (Sedgemoor).
Many of the sisters who worked here are buried in unmarked plots, and three memorial stones were more recently placed to identify them as far as possible. In the SE corner there are a few memorials to other people, usually with a clerical background or other connection to the convent.
