Geocache Description:

This cache is named in honour of Eve Muirhead who retired from curling today.  Perth born Muirhead led the Great Britain womens's curling team that won gold at the 2022 Winter Olympics in Bejing.  In 2014 she was the youngest skip to win an Olympic medal as her team claimed bronze.  For Scotland, Muirhad won the European Championships three times and claimed a sixth world mixed doubles title earlier this year. She has won a total of 11 gold medals in Olympic Games, World Championships and European Championships.

The cache is part of a series hidden in Camore Woods.  The Woods are a very popular walk with families and dogs.

The cache is placed at the side of Loch-an-Treel  between the path and the water.  Loch-an-Treel was used as a curling pond in the past.   Plastic container.  Thanks for Forest and Land Scotland for permission to place this cache.
