This project will help you explore the Sumpter Valley Railroad and its abandoned right-of-way and how it contributed so much to the area over a hundred years ago.
This is where the abandoned ROW from Austin and Bates to Tipton Station crossed Hwy 7. You can see and walk the ROW from where you parked and across the highway along the road.
Continue north along Hwy 7 then turn right on the dirt road and walk more of the abandoned right-of-way.
