The Blue-Belly Stem Trail is located on the north side of Cline Butte, behind Eagle Crest Resort. The trails were recently constructed by COTA as part of a master plan for the Cline Butte area. At the end of Blue-Belly Stem you will connect to Blue-Belly Loop. These trails do not currently connect via trail to the greater Cline Butte trail network, however there are some dirt roads which will connect you. There is one gate along this trail near the Blue Belly Loop intersection that will be an important landmark for finding the geocache hidden here.
The cache is about 1.6 miles from the parking area. This makes for a fairly quick bike ride in and back. A bit more time-consuming if you decide to hike in and back. Traffic in this area is rather light at the time of this writing so hopefully, you'll enjoy the open space and the peace and quiet while on this little trek.
