The Connecticut Audubon Society Center at Fairfield is a nature center and wildlife sanctuary in the Greenfield Hill area of Fairfield, CT. The center maintains the 152-acre Roy and Margot Larsen Wildlife Sanctuary with seven miles of trails and boardwalks, including the Chiboucas wheelchair-accessible trail for the disabled. Open from dawn to dusk, the sanctuary is free to explore, though a donation is encouraged.
This cache is located near the intersection of Chipmunk Run, Country Lane and West Woods Trail in the Larsen Wildlife Sanctuary. Maybe you’ll spot those pesky Chipmunks, Alvin, Simon and Theodore, running among the evergreens and chomping on chestnuts during your search.
