Geocache Description:

This cache is dedicated to a beloved fourth grade teacher, Mr. Miner. At the beginning of every class he would write a "Whiz Quiz" question on the whiteboard. The answer would be revealed at the end of the day. The geocache is placed close to the Community Garden, where all are welcome to walk through before or after finding (or not finding ;)) the cache. You do NOT need to move any large rocks to make this find. The hint for this cache is a bit of a spoiler, so do not read it unless you are desperate. Placed with the permission of the Community Garden Commity and the town manager.

Please obey all Community Garden rules when finding the cache. No bikes or dogs are allowed inside of the garden. Additionally, please do not enter school grounds during school hours. For parking, turn off of Highland Street and enter the gravel path. Park in the lot about 500 feet from the cache and walk to it. This is my first hide, so feel free to send a message saying your thoughts on the cache.

BONUS:

As a bonus for this cache, I have included three "Whiz Quiz" questions below. Please don't just Google the answers. Try to answer with your own knowledge at first. If you are really stuck, ask a friend and if that fails you may Google some answers.

1. How long was the Hundred Years War?

2. What are the four states of matter?

3. What color is the fur/hair of Polar Bears?

The first 5 geocachers to find the cache AND send me the correct answers to these three questions will receive the coordinates to a nearby drop box that contains 5 baseball cards (which I believe Mr. Miner enjoys collecting). Please take only 1 as a prize.

In addition, please practice CITO (Cache in Trash out) while in the garden and surrounding area. Replace the cache exactly as you found it. If you take something, leave something else in return. This cache originally contained a pine cone from Quechee, Vermont, a pin, a mini LEGO geocache container, a crayon eraser, a log sheet with a pencil, and one United States Dollar, which is the FTF prize. There is enough room for mini trade items. Happy Caching!
