Welcome to the Old North End (O.N.E.). A residential area dating back to the 19th century, this area has been the home to a diverse community and a hub for small businesses since the days of the lumbar industry landed on the Waterfront. A short walk from this cache you'll find Battery Park, with views of the Burlington Waterfront (and home to Beansie's Bus, selling burgers, fries, and the like) and many places to stop for a bite to eat. Church Street in downtown Burlington is just a 10-15 minute walk away. This neighborhood is loved by many, including myself. I hope you enjoy your visit.
A note on parking: This is very much a residential street. There is free street parking nearby this cache but it is primarily used by residents and may be full in the evenings/weekends. If you do choose to park nearby, please be courteous, being aware of driveways and parking patterns. In my opinion, this cache is best (and most stealthily) approached on foot.
