This cache is overlooked by my Dad's house. He is 91 and spent almost all of his working life as a Civil Servant in the Health Service.
He used to travel throughout the UK as part of his job but now gets out only to visit an Old Peoples' place at Charlton House and to play bingo, which he used to hate. He watches a lot of television: Inspector Morse, the Sweeney and Midsomer Murders being favourite.
He sometimes believes he has been part of the programmes on TV and I have had phone calls from him asking that I should pick him up from Sheffield or Manchester, for example. We have introduced a couple of safe calls to get him back to reality: the first is he has no mobile phone, so he is always using his landline; the second is if he can see the road sign 'Craigerne Road' from his window, he is at home.
You will need to bring a pen to sign the log.
