Geocaching is a good reason to stop at this nice little County park in Lansing, IA. There are some trails that are in need of exploration here. Maybe someone else wants to add more caches if they get permission from the County.
I placed a cache that is not insise the park, but along the road instead. I wasn't planning to take the time to pursue permission. It is a short walk to the cache from the parking area, and the driveway is a little bit steep. The cache is a long, narrow plastic bottle.
It came to my attention that there is a wasp nest in the same crevice as the cache is hidden. I do not recommend trying to move that container until this Fall, Winter, or early Spring when the the bees are not active anymore There was an optional 2nd container (magnetic) placed nearby where the bees do not go.
