Two weeks ago, I visited the Frog Pond to find the recently hidden 'Shade of the Redwoods' geocache. On that visit, I saw a big white pretty bird in the pond, but the pond was actually just a small puddle. A few days ago, Mommy got a notification that the geocache that was hidden at this spot was archived, so I decided to hide a new one here.
When I visited today, the pond was nothing but a pile of dirt - the water was completely gone. I looked around for a long while trying to find a good place to hide a new container that wouldn't wash away or get overgrown with plants in the wet season. Eventually, I decided to hide the new one at the same coordinates as the old one.
