Northumbria Biker, aka the Wylam Wizard, is a legendary local geocacher who many of you will know from numerous and diverse past events, often in inaccessible locations at altitude, in forests and on islands.
Around about this date (we think it’s the 3rd October) Norman is due to celebrate a milestone birthday. It may be a ‘larger’ milestone than many of you that know the Wizard are aware! His magical powers hide his true age, you see. To say Northumbria Biker has had an eventful outdoor career is a true understatement. Before he discovered the Wizardry that is geocaching he’d already conquered caving, rock climbing, sailboarding and mountain biking. He has tried kayaking but that’s never gone to plan…….
Anyway, the Wizard has a cauldron of tall-tales of derring-do to regale and delight you with at this afternoon event. So please join us to celebrate Norman’s milestone !!
WHERE: The Boathouse, Wylam

TIME: 2:00pm until 4:00pm
The Boathouse has a large, covered, outside seating area which is where we will congregate. Pop along for a short time, or make an afternoon of it.
Everyone is welcome of course, especially those new to caching who might want to meet some fellow geocachers.
You can reach the Boathouse by car, bike, bus and of course the train as it is directly opposite Wylam Station.
