UCF has such a big and beautiful campus and our hope with our UCF caches is to bring people to some of the unique places you can find during a visit to our beloved school.
This cache will bring you near one of the oldest campus icons you can see from miles away from UCF's campus - the UCF water tower. Dedicated in 1967, UCF’s elevated water storage tank stands nearly 170 feet tall and holds 200,000 gallons. It still functions today as a storage tank to provide system pressure for the campus’s water distribution system. The cache isn't on the tower so please leave the tower alone. Just enjoy the view and earn a smiley. When you find the cache, please handle it with care and kindly only remove the black cache container.
Parking on the UCF campus requires a parking pass in most areas. Be sure to obtain a parking pass or park in the retail area by the basketball arena to avoid any issues with parking enforcement. We hope you enjoy your visit to UCF and enjoy this area on campus.
