Brooksville was once known for it's moonshine bootlegging during the prohibition era. Some call it the last cowboy town that was left in America. A large part of making moonshine? That's right... It's CORN! Enjoy the large oak that is nearby as it provides tons of shade. Head North to go into Downtown Brooksville or to check out the various parks nearby such as Roger's Street Park, Tom Varn Park, or the Quarry which will leave you thinking you're much further north due to the topography.
