Geocache Description:

Táto keška ťa zavedie k protitankovému valu železobetónových zátaras v
údolí medzi Kučišdorfskou dolinou a obcou Vinosady. Tieto nemecké
vojenské opevnenia sa začali stavať koncom roku 1944 a pôvodne sa
plánovala celistvá obranná línia na čiare Vinosady – Pezinok – Limbach.
Za projekt opevnení a jeho realizáciu zodpovedal Pioner Sonderstab 116
pod velením majora Himelkreutzera. Plánovaná línia ale nebola nikdy celá
vybudovaná a dnes tu nájdete zachovaných 26 kociek a ďalšie 4 kocky sa
nachádzajú v Pezinku. Na mieste nájdete náučné tabule o bojoch a
zvieratách žijúcich v okolí valu.

This cache will take you to the anti-tank wall of reinforced concrete
barricades in the valley between Kučišdorfská dolina and Vinosady. These
German military fortifications started to be built at the end of 1944,
and initially a complete defensive line was planned on the line Vinosady
- Pezinok - Limbach. Pioner Sonderstab 116 under the command of Major
Himelkreutzer was responsible for the fortification project. However,
the planned line was never fully built, and today you can find 26 blocks
preserved here, and another 4 blocks are located in Pezinok. On the site
you will find educational boards about the battles and animals living
around the rampart.
