This is an island cache. This is NOT a day trip cache unless you have a boat capable of making it or are catching a plane. The ferry does run once a week but has to come and go with the tide and is only docked for an hour max. That is NOT enough time for this cache and the others on island. If you are caching with a smart phone, cell service is very spotty on island. DOWNLOAD YOUR CACHE DATA! (Also coords may be slightly off for the same reason but should get you to GZ still no problem!) That said:
Welcome to the beautiful and remote matinicus island located in Penobscot Bay! This cache is located along the trail leading down to one of the islands many beautiful beaches. If you have wheels to use on island it's best to park at the cemetery and walk in. Keep right at the white mail boxes, follow the road down around the sharp left turn towards the end you will see a grass path trail cut through the brush and raspberries. This trail has many beautiful ocean overlooks and a resort worthy sandy beach at the end. This is a traditional. It's a small blue lock'n'lock. Hopefully this cache won't leave you stumped 😉
