Update 12th Jan
2005: The webcam address had changed, so it's been updated. You may
have to refresh the webcam page itself to get the image to display.
Computers, eh?
St. John's College was
granted its Charter in 1511, after being founded by Lady Margaret
Beaufort, mother of King Henry VII. It is one of
Cambridge University's largest
colleges, and straddles the Cam river.
The
Bridge of Sighs joins
Third Court on the east side of the river to
New Court on the west side, and is so named because it vaguely
resembles the Bridge of Sighs in Venice, Italy (in that it has a
covered walkway...). The college runs a webcam pointing at the
bridge.
Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to post on this
cache page a picture of you in the field of view of the camera,
which can be found at:

So, you'll need a friend on a computer somewhere, and a mobile
phone. Ring your friend and get them to grab the webcam image with
you in the picture.
Easy.
Extra kudos to those that find ways of doing this cache without
being in the bridge!

N.B. also The webcam seems only to work during the
daylight hours, and not always at weekends. Check the camera image
