The chalk hills of Ammon Park are covered in white powder in winter and make a screaming sound just like chalk scraping a chalkboard. Though at this location it's all because of the supreme sledding.
Sunset is just after 7pm so we will have plenty of light for this litter pickup. This marks the end of a 3 day streak of CITOs working with Hannah Sanger and the Portneuf River Vision. Trashbags and nitrile gloves will be provided.
Like the last few times, garbage will be deposited in the nearby public dumpster. Glass will be recycled at the recycling point in Sister city park, while excessive, large, heavy, or hazardous waste will be collected by the Portneuf River Vision.
