Geocache Description:

This Series of caches have been placed along the Bucasia Walking/Bike path.  The series is intended to allow new cachers an opportunity to experience a few different cache types.

The Geomac Series of caches has been created to show and highlight different areas around the Mackay Region.

The series has been placed in areas that may require 4WD for access depending on the weather conditions.  Cachers may decide to walk to these caches from parking locations available around the region but please remember to pack water and do some planning prior to heading out.  Refer to the attributes set for each cache and the difficulty / terrain rating to help you plan your trip.

Other caches may require a boat/kayak to access and as such please remember to stay safe as the Queensland waters contain some local residents that may not be friendly if you encounter them.

All cache containers are of waterproof type but please ensure that the lids of these containers are replaced tightly to ensure a waterproof seal and the log and contents remain dry.  All containers have initially been provided with a pencil but please ensure you bring along a pen as a signed log is required to claim a Smiley.

Some of these caches require a TOTT (Tool Of The Trade) which you may find in the Hint or Attributes of the cache.

There are also Field Puzzles in this Series that will require the solving of a puzzle at the Posted Co-Ordinates to determine your final destination.

This series has been created to provide a variety of caching Attributes and as such, please remember a Smiley is never worth an injury or accident so stay safe cachers.  Happy Caching.
