Bugs, insects, worms and other invertebrates (often referred to as minibeasts and creepy crawlies) may not always be our favourite creatures but they are vital to life on Earth. They make up the complex web of life as decomposers, pollinators, predators or food for insects, birds, and other animals.

Placed here, along this delightful valley floor to entice folk to walk up from Grenada North, come along Horokiwi Rd, and then venture down the Horokiwi Bridal way  trail, through to join the Korokoro stream track, ending your adventure at Cornish Street.
For those who are game to walk right over, start at the end of Caribbean Drive, Grenada North
It would be helpful if a non-geocaching bod could drop you off at one end and pick you up at the other. Download details before venturing out as coverage is non-existent once you head down the Hutt side and along the valley.
When heading down the Horokiwi Bridal way, take care as this is a little steep. Be prepared for wet feet when you come to the valley floor, as there are 12 stream crossings (or was that 13?!) Nothing too deep, but unavoidable none the less. You’ll find your feet are mostly dry by the time you get out to Cornish St!
