Bugs, insects, worms and other invertebrates (often referred to as minibeasts and creepy crawlies) may not always be our favourite creatures but they are vital to life on Earth. They make up the complex web of life as decomposers, pollinators, predators or food for insects, birds, and other animals.

I’ve only been geocaching for a couple of years but am sure that there have been many caches hidden along here in times past. There was a huge storm that washed away a few bridges along here several years ago. The track has been upgraded and well maintained since then – noticing on placement a few slips along the way that have been cleared. A good team on the job!
This one is just a little to the left (bank side) of the bridge, off the main track. Do take care on approaching and in searching, as this is a popular track for walkers and runners, and they may come up on you at any moment.
