Welcome To Havat HaBaron. A location with amazing views and a semi-abandoned hotel complex to explore. The apartments at the bottom of the hill are mostly occupied, and you will see people coming and going from there. However, the hotel at the top of the hill is abandoned and dilapidated. It's not clear to me how a location like this can be anything but a money-making machine, however what I can only assume to be staggeringly incompitend management seems to have gone bankrupt, so that the nearly-finished hotel rooms are just open to the elements. If you know more about what happened here, please feel free to write about it in your log.
I know not everyone likes exploring abandoned buildings, so I hid the cache outside, in an easy-to-reach grab-n-go location. However, I strongly recommend spending at least 20 minutes exploring the hidden rooms and passages of this abandoned complex. It's quite remarkable. I included here some photos from my visit. Just be careful!
