Sacajawea Park is pretty expansive. This litter pick up event will cover the park itself, not the Millward mile trails to the north or south. Often the majority of the trash is along the footpaths, but we are welcome to go into the brush. If you do, I recommend thick long pants because there is a lot of cheat grass, cockle burrs, and sagebrush.
This Cache in Trash out litter pick up event is done in partnership with the Portneuf River Vision. They are handling all excessive waste, hazardous waste, and recycling that we cannot take care of through the trash recepticles at Raymond Park. Nitrile gloves and bin bags will be provided but feel free to bring your own kit if you wish.
