Carnarvon is a small beautiful town in the Karoo, established in 1853. It is a busy farming centre and has a population of 6612 people.
It is definately worth a visit with beautiful guest houses and a beautiful hotel.
The cache is a small plastic tube container. You must come in from the dam side or at the gate, go long way over koppies if dam has water. It is recommended that you go with a vehicle that can go in/through bushes. I did put a big spoiler, but the coordinates it is in that area, but might be way off, so I saved you some time. Please hide it as you found it. Enjoy the first cache in Carnarvon Northern Cape.
