Congrats to EstesLynne for first to find!
This series is located on a local public trail that is dog friendly and allows hikers, bikers, and horse riders only. No vehicles allowed although the biggest percent of the trail is dirt road used for timber cutting and private residence access.
Do be mindful of all signage regarding private property. There are several offshoot roads so follow the road as marked TRAIL.
The trail goes from Fish Creek Road to Highway 7. This easy scenic trail meanders through trees and open areas. The entire trail is 2-2 1/2 miles one way depending on where you park. Adequate parking is at either end of the trail. Coordinates are provided for both parking areas.
This portion of the trail was donated from Cheney Colorado Camp for use as a public trail. There is a nice picnic table here to have a quick break before the hike.
Maybe be difficult to find if recent snow.
