Once I decided to archive the original Slitherlink Rhombile (3, 6), I thought it would be a good idea to create a new cache for that tiling (it's been a while since I created my last Slitherlink cache; I'm sure fans of the series would welcome another).
To work out the location of this cache, you need to do the following:
- Solve the puzzle below (see the cache listing for Slitherlink Boot Camp for the rules about how to solve Slitherlink puzzles).
- Locate the letters a through to k in the puzzle (i is omitted). For each letter, its numeric value is the number of lines around the cell.
The cache can be found at S 43 30.ABC E 172 34.DEF, where:
A = a + b
B = c + d
C = e + f
D = g + h
E = C + 1
F = j + k
The checksum for A to F is 23.
Cache is a pill container hidden in a block of wood, tucked (low-ish) behind a corner post (a couple of metres from the sealed path). Please line up the block of wood correctly when replacing. Watch out for muggles!
