This is a nice and easy introduction to Makwa Ziibiins Miikana (Bear Creek Trail). It's a really fun and easy trail on the far southeast side of Superior that meanders a little over 2 miles through beautiful trees and small creeks. It's a wide trail that is well maintained. There are several boardwalks and multiple bridges to help with the terrain.
From what I've found, this trail is open year round and allows hikers, bikers, and dogs.
