KUMEYAAY GRINDING STONES
Ancient large granite grinding stones are a very common site in San Diego County's remote backcountry but a rare site in an urban settings such as the one this cache will bring you to. For thousands of years North San Diego County was inhabited by two Native American tribes: the Kumeyaay and the Payomkawichum (Luiseno).
