**UPDATE August 19, 2023 - Blowdown took old container. Replaced with easier to spot container, but it's at least 7 feet high. So bring a very tall friend or one of those trash grabbers.**
**UPDATE April 20, 2023 - The original hide was compromised by the grounds crew. Moved about 10 feet and replaced container. I added a hint, updated the description and added a few attributes, to better describe the current cache location.**
The posted coordinates will take you to the beginning of your trip across the Biloxi Bay Bridge. Sorry, but only Service Dogs are allowed on the bridge walkway. Not recommended at night.
There are some very nice murals just below the bridge, near the trailhead that you will probably enjoy looking at before you get started. This way, if you're tired on the return trip, you won't miss them.
I've walked across this beautiful bridge a few times and thought it would be a nice place for a multi-cache. There are some very nice pieces of art work and breath taking views all along the bridge walkway. This very nice walking path is on the gulf side of the bridge and there are usually people walking, running, and even biking across it for exercise during nice weather. The round trip from parking will be a little more than 3.5 miles. The few times I've walked on the bridge it was windy. I suppose it probably always is, so keep that in mind. There is no cover on the bridge, so sun screen might not be a bad idea.
Terrain and Difficulty are based on the length of the hike, the hide and the attention to detail you'll have to have in retrieving the information for the final.
Take pictures at the waypoints, just in case. You don't want to have to walk across the bridge again. Waypoints are not in alphabetical order.
The final location is N 30° 24.ABC W 088° 50.DEF. Checksum of the missing numbers = 24
The geocache is a couple steps into the wood line, so dress appropriately.
Please obey all posted signs and pay attention to your surroundings. Please use stealth when seeking and retrieving the final.
If you enjoyed this multi-cache, consider adding a favorite point. Thanks.
Congratulations to geo202 on her FTF!!
