KinderKen found his first cache, One for the Road, on June 2, 2009. When he passed away on October 16, 2022, at the age of 77, he had amassed 28,678 finds.
Off all of the geoaching accomplishments/milestones, I think the one that he was most proud of was completing the very rare Quadruple Jasmer when he found Match Stash in Sweden on October 06, 2017.
Ken's last find was under the wood, on Septemebr 9, 2022, his last event was Dog Pound Fun Raiser #8, on September 17, 2022 and his last log was Trail of Cheeto's: Fizzy Grid X8 Challenge, on September 20, 2022.
Geocaching was a very important part of his life and it meant so much to him on so many levels. This ammo can was special to him and its story can be read at The War of 2012.
Ken was a big part of the Calgary Caching Community and I bet that we all have our own memories of this kind, gentle and generous man.
