The cache is 2.6 mi. from I-15 Exit 112. It is a short easy walk and is placed to give a view of the Virgin valley between Bunkerville and Riverside and beyond.
The old paved highway runs parallel to I-15 for a few miles in this area and is accessed at about .9 miles south on the road to Riverside. At the time we placed the cache it should be accessible by automobile, but the old highway appears to receive little or no maintenance. Take care, it may at some time be washed out. There are some steep cliffs in the area so use caution with kids and animals.
!!!!!NOTE!!!! As of 12/30/04 the road may not be passable for vehicles due to recent rains. Where the road washes out is about .3 miles from the cache and the cache should be accessable on foot using the road. A good place to park and check out the road is at N36 45.555 W114 15.125. Just walk up the road and follow your GPS.
The initial contents of the cache were: some pencils,pens,book,rock samples,etc, and our first Travel Bug "Christmas Snoopy".
