Wilderness Explorations Redux Traditional Geocache

The first cache I placed in this location had an interesting story and when it went missing and the hiding spot changed, I decided to place a new cache to continue the story. This cache will be more of a challenge to find than the original. You will be looking for a small lock n' lock container hidden on the ground with a natural object covering it. It's also likely to have some leaf covering.

This is not a mystery cache, but the cache is a mystery. It is a usual type hide in the woods. Although this area is a welcome oasis in the suburbs, it's by no means a wilderness. 

I enjoy solving Mystery Caches, but I also love stories about caches, especially if there is a mystery involved and this one has a story. Can you help me solve the mystery?

Sometime around April of 2018, a friend of mine was on the Rachel Carson Greenway Trail east of Colesville Rd and found a lock ’n lock container with an Official Geocache label with the title “Wilderness Explorations.” The cache was sitting on the ground in the open and my friend left it where he found it. I went back the next day, cleaned it up, and hid it better.

I used the names and dates in the log book in an attempt to identify who may have hidden the cache and if they would like to publish it. I received no replies from any of the people I reached out to, so it remains a mystery.
