Geocache Description:

A continuation of the cache placements along a utility trail.  Purchased a bag of these plastic screwtop coin tubes for inserting log books to be placed in larger containers. We turned them over to my younger sister Kimmie, the family artist, to do with as she wished. This is the fourth hide displaying one of her masterpieces.

As you search for the cache around the end of the trail (careful! some fencing is down and it's a significant drop so hang on to kiddos!) enjoy the breeze and a possible view of the Cascades over the village - I mean Auburn. Silence. You may notice the crackling of electricity surging across wires above raising hairs and goosebumps!

"It's Alive!"

- splits the air! Reminisce Gene Wilder's diabolical cry in Young Frankenstein, a delightful 1974 American classic directed by Mel Brooks. This comic parody of an equally classic horror film is a favorite Halloween movie to enjoy amidst the surge and taper of "trick or treaters".  After you've signed the log, you may feel an urge to raise your hands to the sky above and proclaim: "It's Alive!"

Unfortunately someone has been taking cache containers in the Auburn and Federal Way area so we decided to create "replaceable" replicas of Kimmie's artwork with printed labels. We were very disheartened to lose Day Sleeper (Kimmie Kache #2) to the cache-napper and have replaced that tube with a similar printed label.

Note: FTF gift is a Kimmie Rock, hand-painted to match cache theme and this one is located directly beneath the cache. Terrain rating of 2.5 is due to medium to large size gravel on lower trail which can be difficult to walk on. Caution: again, this cache is fairly close to the "end of the trail" which ends in a very steep, deep drop off, so definitely need to cache during daylight hours.

There may be closer parking along the trail but the closest neighborhood access to this cache is extremely limited.
