Reset this one to give even more of a challenge. The correct way up to the geocache is first by going all the way down, then going back up on to the flat and high ledge with shelter above it. I prefer to "bum shuffle" along it but it might be easier to crawl.
BE EXTREMELY CAREFUL! THIS CACHE IS NOT EASY! GOOD BALANCE IS DEFINITELY REQUIRED!
This is a challenging cache located on a rockface close to the interesting Captain Cook's Monument. In order to find this tricky cache, grippy footwear is needed, especially on rainy days. Rocks can be very slippy and potentially unstable, so be aware and prepared for this. Ropes will probably be more hindrance than help, so just take care while climbing.
There is parking at Gribdale Carpark, and it is an easy walk up to the monument. There are amazing views from this cache, like seeing over to Roseberry Topping, the rest of the moors, and even on very clear days the Pennines are easily viewable.
Happy hunting!
