Pinkham Trails #1 Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

MainePublisher: All geocache placements must have a responsive owner. The cache owner must be able to respond to issues that come up and to submit an "owner maintenance" log to remove the "needs maintenance" icon.

In addition to the "needs maintenance" logs and DNF logs, Goundspeak also uses a Health Score algorithm. https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=713

In this case, Groundspeak has sent an email to the cache owner with no response. The cache owner did not respond to any of the cachers hoping to find the cache and did not respond to the reviewer note so the cache is now archived.

The cache location is now open for any Geocacher to place a new cache, including the original cache owner.

Geocache Description:

I noticed a sizable gap of caches in the area and decided to place some on a nice trail system that connects Old Town and Orono. These trails are great all year round for hiking, biking, and snowshoeing. Each cache is winter friendly (hanging) with little room for trading. Please press down on the lids and twist to open, like a medicine bottle, and bring your own pen. I plan on placing a few more in the area and continuing this series as space between caches permits. The trails are known to get pretty muddy depending on recent weather, so plan your attire accordingly. There's no specific order to doing these caches, so enjoy the hunt!
