Welcome to Ted's Trail, approximately 3 mile long circular trail along country lanes and a wide track, linking the villages of Long Bennington, Dry Doddington and Westborough.
I recommend walking or cycling, as it is not possible to drive along the track at the start of the trail. Also, parking is difficult along the country lanes as they are not very wide in places, there are passing places, but obviously, these are intended for passing other vehicles, NOT for parking!
Ted is my son's cockapoo, who lives in Claypole. He is very handsome and loveable, if you see him out and about, please stop and say 'Hi'. 12 months old at the time we placed these caches....he was keen to walk from Claypole to Long Bennington, and I knew he was keen to join me and place some caches along the way, this is the result of Ted's adventure with me!
Along this trail, there is a public house in Dry Doddington, where liquid refreshments can be purchased, with outdoor as well as indoor seating available. In Long Bennington, there are several options for eating and drinking, and a shop too.
