About this cache: The park is named after the original owner of the land, Archie Irons.  The park is 10 acres and features several pavilions, available for rental, Fort Austin, a playscape for children, basketball and tennis courts, and the refreshing Rifle River that runs through it.  During the winter there is a perfect hill for sledding.

The cache is not at the posted coordinates. The posted coordinates take you to a sign titled West Branch Stormwater XXXX in the Irons Park parking lot where you will need to gather some information to solve the puzzle that takes you to the final. Next, you will need to go to the sign at the Irons Park entrance (N 44 16.449, W 084 13.851) to get the rest of the information to solve for the final.

You will need to solve this puzzle to get the final coordinates: N 44 16.ABC, W 084 13.XYZ.

For XYZ you need to go to the sign at the posted coordinates where:

X=The number of letters in the last (4th) word of the sign title.

Y=In the section titled “Managing Stormwater in West Branch”, how many rain gardens were installed at Irons Park?

Z=In the section titled “Managing Stormwater in West Branch”, what is the last numeral of the 2nd year mentioned?

For ABC, go to the Fort Austin Kids Park sign at the entrance.

A=What is the 4th digit in May XX-XX, 1999?

B= What is the 2nd digit in May XX-XX, 1999?

C= What is the 3rd digit in May XX-XX, 1999?
