Thirty geocaches have been hidden throughout Roscommon and Ogemaw Counties. They highlight the best of the area in any season!

Roscommon and Ogemaw Counties are ideal places to spend a day, a long weekend or
an entire vacation. Everything you can imagine is here for your enjoyment. Enjoy our
trails, State Parks, the Ogemaw Hills, and our great lakes – Houghton Lake, Higgins
Lake and Lake Saint Helen. Make your travel plans in northern Michigan and come

About this cache: Rifle River Recreation Area provides year-round recreational opportunities including fishing, paddling, camping, swimming, hiking, mountain biking, and more. Home to 10 no-wake lakes and ponds along the Rifle River. There is an observation tower and many trails to venture and scenic areas. The park is over 4,449 acres in Ogemaw County, but you won't need to search that many. A DNR vehicle passport required. You are looking for a plastic ammo can, hidden in the traditional way.
