Geocache Description:

History and heritage can be found written in the gravestones of a local cemetery.  Yet despite being “etched in stone”, time finds ways to wear down even the toughest of inscriptions.  Rain, ice, wind, vegetation, and chemical reactions take their toll causing inscriptions to fade or stones to crack and crumble.

Several methods are available to help folks read difficult inscriptions: trying to read them at different times of the day, adjusting the light with mirrors and flashlights, photographing them at different angles, and digital manipulation of photographs.  If the stone is in a decent shape to be handled, you can try tinfoil, water/snow, and rubbings on paper.  NOTE: stone is porous and you should NEVER apply anything that cannot be immediately removed such as chalk, shaving cream, flour, ink, paint, and household cleaners.

On to the puzzle:

The container is not at the posted coordinates.

You will need a good eye to be able to read some rather worn-out stones.  With a little focus, you will be able to read the coordinates on the stones in the image below.  The coordinates will take you to a cluster of small cemeteries.  These are active cemeteries so please be respectful of any visitors/mourners and only cache between dawn and dusk.
