Known for: Andrew Lockley has won three Oscars, with his third Oscar awarded in 2021 for his work on the movie Tenet. He was one of four named winners in the Visual Effects category.
He and his team frequently collaborate with Christopher Nolan, the writer and director of the 2020 science fiction action-thriller film.
He was on stage at the Oscars ceremony in 2012 to accept the Best Visual Effects award for his work on Inception.
And three years later he received the Special Visual Effects award for Interstellar.
Bournemouth Connection: Andrew did an MA in Special Digital Effects at Bournemouth University and graduated in 2000.
