If you have cached in the Niagara Region, then you have likely spent a lot of time along The Welland Canal.
This is another hide along the canal, but this time we are bringing you to an old Ontario plaque from 1976 detailing the building of The Welland Ship Canal. The plaque is weathered, and we had never noticed it - we thought we'd bring you here to read it yourself.
There is parking at GZ, and this is also a nice place to watch the lower locks.
