Il Collegio Brandolini Rota di Oderzo fu fondato nel 1889 e l’annesso Museo di Storia Naturale nacque nel 1938 come laboratorio didattico ad uso del liceo scientifico.
Il Museo si sviluppa su una lunghezza di quasi 200 metri, occupando una superficie di 500 metri quadrati. E’ composto da quattro sale dedicate a geologia, paleontologia, zoologia e alla Collezione ornitologica Giol.
Sede dei padri Giuseppini del Murialdo è stato teatro di un episodio molto discusso durante la seconda guerra mondiale e noto come la strage di Oderzo.

The Brandolini Rota College of Oderzo was founded in 1889 and the adjoining Museum of Natural History was born in 1938 as an educational laboratory for the use of the scientific high school.
The Museum is spread over a length of almost 200 meters, occupying an area of 500 square meters. It consists of four rooms dedicated to geology, paleontology, zoology and the Giol Ornithological Collection.
Seat of the Giuseppini del Murialdo fathers, it was the scene of a much discussed episode during the Second World War and known as the Oderzo massacre.
