Geocache Description:

Please be careful to put the cache back as found.

This cache can be approached from two directions. For a nice hike, park at the first parking area on the right when you enter the Oil Well Flats area. Head generally SE on the trail called Tectonic Shift. Stay on that trail for about a mile. (You might want to pick up a different cache on the way.)

The cache has room for goodies, but they have to fit through a 1 1/2 inch hole. Remember, if you put it in, it needs to be able to come out.

If you're FTF, you might want to look through the shiny baubles for the pin from the 1990 Goodwill Games in Seattle.

You will need a pen/pencil, and maybe tweezers.

If the roads aren't muddy and you don't mind rough driving, you can make your way to the alternate parking coordinates. Follow The Path of Least Resistance to Tectonic Shift. Turn left and follow Tectonic Shift about 1/4 mile. (About 1/2 mile total from car.) This is a shorter and easier hike than the first approach, if you can handle the roads. If you want a longer hike, continue on Tectonic Shift until you hit the road about not far from your car, about a 1.25 mile loop.

Don't screech when you find the cache.

The challenge is in the approach. The fun is in the find. It's not your usual cache.

CONGRATULATIONS LeewayeDiscGolf on your FTF!
