El sendero a Pozo de oro se encuentra dentro de la reserva privada Huilo Huilo. Se puede acceder desde Puerto Fuy, un pequeño poblado que conecta con regiones cercanas a la frontera de argentina y una de las tantas rutas para cruzar al país veciono por el camino a San Martin de los Andes por medio de barcazas que llevan personas y vehículos.
The trail to Pozo de Oro is located within the Huilo Huilo private reserve. It can be accessed from Puerto Fuy, a small town that connects with regions close to the Argentine border and one of the many routes to cross into the neighboring country on the road to San Martin de los Andes by boats that carry people and vehicles.

Trecking: El camino desde Puerto Fuy a Pozo de oro es una travesía por la selva de HuiloHuilo imperdible. La gran variedad vegetativa es un tesoro por si mismo. El camino está perfectamente marcado y bastante bien cuidado, sin embargo hay que tener MUCHO CUIDADO CON LOS DESVÍOS o podrán hacer el camino más largo de lo necesario. Sin ningun desvio, el camino son 5km que van de los 600 a los 800m de altitud por lo que se encontrarán sectores algo empinados sin embargo son caminables. Es importante llevar calzado adecuado porque los caminos son de tierra y entre plantas y árboles caídos pueden requerer seguridad extra como bastones.
Trekking: The path from Puerto Fuy to Pozo de Oro is an unforgettable journey through the Huilo-Huilo jungle. The great vegetative variety is a treasure by itself. The path is perfectly marked and quite well cared for, however you have to be VERY CAREFUL WITH THE DETOURS or they may make the path longer than necessary. Without any detour, the road is 5km that goes from 600 to 800m of altitude, so there will be somewhat steep sectors, however they are walkable. It is important to wear suitable footwear because the paths are unpaved and among fallen plants and trees may require extra security such as walking sticks too.

.En puerto fuy pueden buscar por Tintica Buey, quienes hacen guias turisticas por los caminos del huilo huilo y ofrecen alojamientos en cabañas. Se puede acampar gratis en la mayor parte del pueblo y la reserva.
