The eastern copperhead (Agkistrodon contortrix) is a species of venomous snake, a pit viper, endemic to eastern North America. It has distinctive, dark brown, hourglass-shaped markings, overlaid on a light reddish brown background. The body type is heavy, rather than slender. Adults grow to a typical length of 20–37 inches.
You seek a cap-n-cap (not a snake) located at a secret boat ramp. Very busy at times (not that secret) so stealth may be required.
Good luck and happy hunting!
