This cache should be a quick, easy find once you arrive at the noticeboard.
The cache can be accessed via a tarmac track and should be suitable for wheelchair users.
Morfa Berwig nature reserve is a council-owned 18 hectare (44 acre) site previously earmarked for development, but now maintained as a local nature reserve. The area was formally a coastal floodplain and grazing marsh. But during previous centuries the salt marshes were slowly reclaimed for agriculture and development, with a system of ditches being created to reclaim the land and prevent flooding.
These slow-flowing ditches are now a haven for one of the UK's most endangered species: the water vole. They live in burrows in coastal ditches. Their favourites being open, lush, grassy banks.
That's not to mention all of the other hundreds of species that flourish in this former brownfield site.
On the day that we placed the cache, a dog walker told us with delight that he'd seen a kingfisher a few moments before. So, keep an eye out whilst you're at GZ, you never know what you might see.
Parking for two cars is available at the road end 35m (114feet) away.
