This little roadrunner took a trip across the desert and found a homestead here. Our family's weekend cabin property, here in Johnson Valley, was first homesteaded in the early 1950's by our Uncle Ray and Aunt Elsie. It's hot in the Summer and gets pretty darn cold in the Winter and always windy in between. Don’t just breeze by this geocache as you run down the old woman's road because you'll get hot and cold looking for the roadrunner's load.
