This is one of two Geocaches for the Warrumbungle N.P. Environmnetal Education Centre and Warrumbungle NPWS. Our original Rock On cache had it's rock removed, so we have had to find a new home for it. Sorry to those who couldn't find it when it was displaced. We hope to put out more caches in the future.
Our aim is to showcase the wonders that the WNP has to offer while getting you out and about.The location at of this geocache is Camp Blackman. This area was once a farming property prior to 19670's. Now this area is used for the main camping ground within the NP and the location of one of 25 Department of Education's Environmental and Zoo Education Centres, the Warrumbungle National Park Environmental Education Centre. This location provides the perfect place to roll a swag out, pitch a tent, park a trailer or a van and visit the WNP Information Centre and get out and explore this unique park and surroundings.
