This is an excellent example of a "Refresh the Gameboard" hide. I set "Thank you CalTrans..." in May 2008. It was just a spot on Highway 150 with a pullout large enough to pull into, park, and find a geocache safely. With 101 finds, there were only two FAV points, and it's only been found twice since November 2020.
THE PULLOUT WAS GONE when I checked on it, so parking isn't safe. There is a safe place to park eastbound on the highway but watch for traffic when attempting to find the geocache.
It's a typical hiding spot and a typical cache container, but the combination is atypical. The cache's name is the hint.
