The City of Waukesha Parks, Recreation and Forestry Dept and AuntieNae invite you and your family to join us for this long running tradition! Our first Waukesha Winter Janboree Event was held on Jan 22, 2005 making this our 19th Annual event.

This event meets in TWO locations, please make a note of where and when:

9:00-12:00 noon  LOCATION: N 43° 00.984 W 088° 13.487  Shuetze Recreation Center  1120 Baxter Street Waukesha, WI

12:00-2:00 PM LOCATION:  N 43° 00.639 W 088° 13.961 Mia’s Pizza 800 Clinton Street Waukesha WI

(Please note, Mia’s has a new owner and new crew. A limited menu will be available.)

10:30-11:30 AM GEOCACHING 101 Presentation  New to Geocaching?  Come join us for this presentation:  Geocaching, a global game of treasure hunting using longitude and latitude coordinates, is a fun filled adventure for all ages. With your smart phone or a GPS receiver, and internet access, you are ready to explore and search for a “geocache.” This presentation will focus on the basics needed to get started in participating in this eco-friendly family friendly sport including suggested equipment, the website, how to search for a cache, and types of caches. Learn how you, your family, and even friends, can explore the parks in a new way.

12:00 noon-2:00 PM Lunch at Mia's Pizza - food purchase is NOT required but it is "buy your own food and drink".  (Mia's has a new owner, same yummy food! A limited menu will be available.)
